About RevivalRO
Free Ragnarok Online servers since 2004
Updated
RevivalRO is a free Ragnarok Online private server community that started in 2004 as RebirthRO, founded by Syphon. It runs two Ragnarok Online servers, Freya and Loki, plus GemstoneWoW, a World of Warcraft server for Wrath of the Lich King.
Every world is free to play with no pay-to-win. Optional donations unlock cosmetic rewards only and never affect combat power or drop rates. Players join from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Brazil, Europe and beyond, and global proxies keep latency low across Southeast Asia, Brazil and Europe.

Frequently asked questions
Is RevivalRO free to play?
Yes. Freya, Loki and GemstoneWoW are free to play, with no subscription and no pay-to-win items. Optional donations only unlock cosmetic rewards and never affect combat power or drop rates.
Which server should I choose?
Choose Freya for current Renewal content: Episode 21 Age of Heroes, 4th job classes, the Doram race and Android support alongside PC. Choose Loki for classic pre-renewal play at 255/120 with custom instances and old-school mechanics. Choose GemstoneWoW to play World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King on patch 3.3.5a.
What is the difference between Renewal and Pre-Renewal?
Renewal (Freya) brings 3rd and 4th job classes, renewal stat formulas, new maps and modern mechanics. Pre-Renewal (Loki) keeps the original stat system, with 2nd and transcendent jobs and simpler formulas. It comes down to whether you prefer modern Ragnarok Online or the classic game; both servers are free.
What are the Freya and Loki rates?
Freya: base EXP 30x, job EXP 30x, drop 10x, max level 275/70, max ASPD 193. Loki: base EXP 100x, job EXP 100x, drop 20x, max level 255/120, max ASPD 196, max stats 255.
Can I play on Android?
Yes, on Freya. The Android client runs on Android 8 or newer and uses the same account and game world as PC. Loki and GemstoneWoW are PC only.
How do I download and install the client?
Download the full installer from freya.ragnarevival.com or loki.ragnarevival.com. The patcher keeps your client up to date, and no GRF editing is needed. The PC client supports Windows 7, 10 and 11.
Which job classes are available?
Freya runs Episode 21 Age of Heroes with all 3rd and 4th job classes, the Doram race and the newest classes Karnos, Druid and Alitea. Loki is classic pre-renewal with 1st, 2nd, transcendent and expanded classes, without 3rd jobs.
Is there War of Emperium?
Yes. Freya and Loki both run War of Emperium, the classic guild castle siege, with WoE SE and WoE TE on a fixed schedule. Castles reward exclusive loot and guild fame.
Will I have good ping from Southeast Asia?
We run proxy servers in Southeast Asia for players in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, plus a proxy for Europe. Select the closest proxy in the patcher; there is no extra setup or cost.
How long has RevivalRO been running?
RevivalRO continues RebirthRO, which launched in 2004. Founder Syphon relaunched the community under the RevivalRO name, so the servers have more than 20 years of community and development behind them.
Are there custom instances and events?
Yes. Both Ragnarok servers have custom instances, quests and seasonal events, plus GM-run PvP tournaments. Regular updates add new content, custom headgear and balance changes.
Where can I get help or join the community?
Join the Discord for your world: Freya, Loki or GemstoneWoW. GMs and developers are active there, and it is the place to ask questions, report bugs and find a party.
